Uncle Davey Wavey is our next visitor! How did we get so lucky??

Wow! Our second visitor this winter was my awesome 15 yr. brother, Dave. It was his spring break in April, and he practically hitch hiked his way here with some buddies of my second cousin's husband. They were coming back to Edmonton after general conference... Here are some fun photos of the trip. He was ours for 6 whole days and we loaded them full of fun memories!! We miss you, Dave!!
A warm welcome to Edmonton from Granty!

When you come to Edmonton you have to see the West Edmonton Mall... This is a seal show inside the mall!

Our favorite Vietnamese soup in the WEM (West Edmonton Mall)
"David, you get to come to scouts with me tonight, " says Robbie. "Oh and by the way, we are going to the Oilers game for scouts!!" Robbie is pretty much the best scout leader  ever!

The Oiler's newest fan, Dave!

Bubble Tea (minus the tea and plus Milk) "Give me some, Dave."

We discovered our new favorite Vietnamese food in Edmonton with Dave at Than Than Noodle House

Costco Poutine anyone? All we really did the whole trip was eat...

I only do this when we have guests... But oh is it delicious!
The theme park in WEM!! We must have done this ride 10 times in a row... the joy of no lines!

This ride reminds me of the Wild Mouse at Lagoon... a very fast and sharp turn-twisty ride
The two on the left are Naomi and Arland Hudkins... Naomi is our 2nd cousin that we recently met here in Edmonton! Her husband's buddies are the ones Dave rode up from Salt Lake with. It was so fun getting acquainted with them over breakfast on Dave's last morning here in Edmonton.
Goodbye Uncle Dave.. No tears!

Mama Sharon made it to Edmonton!!!This is EPIC!!

Glad the Salmons planned a trip to Calgary so they could bring my mama with them!! Robbie was working so my friend, Jena, came with me to surprise my mom in Calgary. We bought her a Greyhound bus ticket for Calgary to Edmonton because the weather looked bad, but then I couldn't sit at home and wait all night, so we surprised her by meeting in Calgary. She didn't even recognize her grandson in that weird sweater!! Karen and Leslie Salmon were in on the surprise!
Edmonton Temple- look at all that snow that fell in one night. Amazing!

My dream boat- the least popular man downtown- surprised us by dropping in during his break. I love it when he works Southwest!!

Had to bring a special missionary some goodness from home in Provo, UT!! We found him in a library further north than I had ever ventured previously since moving to Edmonton

Dare to try donair?

Surprised how well Grant warmed up to Mama Sharon!

COSTCO finds made EVEN better with the Canadian Dollar- fig bars were even on sale! Mama- they must really love you.

She might kill me when she sees this one... She sure does need to catch up on her sleep when she comes to Canada. I guess they don't let her sleep back home... I love the attached cell phone ;)

Good morning, Sunshine!

"I can't believe we paid to do that!" - Mama Sharon

Our favorite Vietnamese soup in the West Ed Mall

Bubble TEA!! (It's not really tea, just a milky smoothy with tapioca and REAL fruit chunks.) I know she is having withdrawals as we speak.

Uncle Jim "babysat" while the rest of us played Quirkle.

You can't come to Edmonton without enjoying an Oiler's Game!! They even won for us! Just more of that good luck that Mama Sharon bring with her!!

Sorry Robbie- I uploaded the wrong photo. Your eyes are closed!!

Some people are fortunate enough to ride home in that beauty.

Mom had to meet my second cousin, Tiffany Mosaico! This is dad's cousin Jan's daughter who is my Relief Society President in our ward right now. SMALL WORLD.

Bravery Buddies- mom was a slave driver making me stay up til 1am to finish this project for Leslie. But thanks for helping me become a "finisher," mom! You're so good at that.

Costco Poutine is the BEST!! We had to go twice while she was here :)

Visiting dad's Aunt Jeanne just outside of Calgary. Well, actually an hour off the beaten trail but totally worth it.
Model pose!
Aunt Jeanne and Mom

Aunt Jeanne lives in a forest!!!

Calgary Temple!! Too rainy for a picture :(
